Stopped by for brunch and we had the appetizer platter, meatballs, and borek. Food was great and the atmosphere was chill. First time trying Albanian food and would come here again.
The best place to try Albanian cuisine with the best appetizers, the best cooked qebapa, qofte and many other meat products. Very warm atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and polite. Food is 10/10. I recommend everyone to come and try Dodona Cafe. The best in Cliffside Park.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. As for the food, everything I tried was fresh and full of flavor. The pastries were perfectly baked, and the breakfast menu offered a great variety. The coffee was smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. I especially loved the burek me mish. Cleanliness was top-notch, and it’s clear the team takes pride in maintaining a pleasant and comfortable space. This is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great food, quality coffee, and a chill vibe!
I walked in looking for a small lunch before I continued working. I did not realize I was about to have one of the most tasteful meals of my life (not joking)! I did not recognize many of the items on the menu, but I was lucky enough to have Ledjo as my server. He did an amazing job giving me recommendations and explaining the heritage of the traditional Albanian dishes. The restaurant is beautiful and covered in Albanian photos and designs. Ledjo took the time out of his day to talk about each photo and the meaning behind everything. It really made this restaurant stick out to me, as I not only enjoyed the food, but I also felt like I learned something while eating here! I ordered the Sausage Dip (HIGHLY recommended), the Fli, and the Fasul. They were ALL amazing, and you can seriously tell it is homemade and made with passion. I went from walking into a local cafe looking for lunch into having one of the best dining experiences ever. I truly recommend you check out this place if you’re lucky enough to stumble across it.
Our first time visiting Dodona Café, and we’ll definitely be back! The food was absolutely delicious, the espresso was so good that my sister had two, and we can’t forget the service it was excellent. The inside is beautiful and has just as much history as the name Dodona itself. ❤️

We were very satisfied with our visit to Dodona Cafe, especially with the service. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated with great hospitality. The way we were received and served really made a positive impression on us. When it comes to the food, I have to start with the ćevapi. As someone who is Bosnian and grew up eating ćevapi, I can honestly say these were top quality and absolutely delicious. They truly reminded me of home. Everything else we ordered, which can be seen in the pictures, was also more than good. At the end, the host even gave us three somuns to take home because I mentioned how much I loved them. That was something that really brought back memories for me, something I used to eat regularly growing up. This is definitely a place worth praising, and we will gladly come back again.

Stopped for lunch and was blown away by the ambience, the delicious and authentic food and the lovely service. They also had a very nice patio. Haven't had food this good since my last trip to the Balkans and Turkey. Albanian cuisine may be the best of the balkans! Generous portions, lovely presentation and great sample platters so you can try everything. And excellent homemade bread. We'll be back!
